The clinker built boats and the black tarred huts of the long shore fisherman are all that lie on the shingle beach between the North sea once known as the German ocean and the Wentworth Hotel. Upstairs the 28 bedrooms are carefully furnished and vary in size. Many have seaviews with binoculars provided to scan the horizon. In Darfield House opposite the main hotel there are 7 bedrooms that are particularily spacious and guests staying here have the additional use of secluded patio garden. All the bedrooms have television radio and telephone and all have en suite bathrooms. The Wentworth has its own car park for 30 cars with additional parking outside the hotel. IP15 5BD Directions: Directions from LondonEither head east for the City or East end down Mile End Road and to A12 or head for M25 and then exit onto A12 Exit no.28 onto A12 Once onto A12 head for Chelmsford then Colchester then Ipswich.At the roundabout immediately before Ipswich continue onto the A14 towards Felixstowe and Lowestoft. This road A12 then goes through Martlesham and passes by Woodbridge. Immediately after the village of Farnham turn right onto the A1094 to Aldeburgh.When in Aldeburgh go straight over the mini roundabout and then after passing the Church on the left go down the hill to where you can see the sea.
